The City College of Cagayan de Oro (CCCDO), in partnership with the select Barangays , successfully conducted the Barangayan: Focus Group Discussion and Market Analysis Survey.
Spearheaded by Ms. Herna Francis Mae Tano, Director of the Extension and Outreach Office, Ms. Gemma Gonzales, Volunteer Management, and Mr. Joel Nob, Extension and Outreach Officer, the initiative aimed to gather essential data on the needs and priorities of the barangay constituents. This data will help ensure that CCCDO’s extension programs align with and address the socioeconomic challenges of the community.
The insights gathered will guide decision-making on enterprise development, training programs, and research collaborations, reinforcing the college’s commitment to community empowerment and sustainable development.
