The HIUSA Sports League 2024, held from November 14-16 at the City College of Cagayan de Oro, concluded with incredible performances and significant milestones. The BTLED Green Eagles emerged as the overall champion, showcasing excellence in multiple events.
In the men's volleyball division, TSTI Gray Sharks took the lead, while the BTLED Green Eagles dominated the women's category. In table tennis, the BACOMM Red Crows claimed victory in the men’s division, while TSTI Black Mamba triumphed in the women’s category. In e-sports, TSTI Black Mamba secured the championship in Mobile Legends.
In a historic moment for the institution, Michael Remadavia and Karen Kate Cartagena of BTLED Green Eagles were crowned the first-ever Mr. and Ms. Intramurals 2024. Additionally, BACOMM Red Crows delivered a standout performance, winning the top prize in the modern dance competition.
The event highlighted the core values of the HIUSA Sports League—unity, sportsmanship, and achievement—demonstrating that the spirit of competition extends beyond the games, emphasizing well-being, mutual support, and community.
