Themed \"Beyond the Horizon – Sailing towards Sustainability and Synergy,\" this summit convened over 500 passionate participants committed to nurturing second-chance opportunities for out-of-school youth. This event, held on November 13-14, 2024 in Quezon City, was not only a celebration of a shared progress but also a platform to exchange innovative strategies that underscore the dedication to improving learning and livelihood opportunities for the next generation.

The City College of Cagayan de Oro, an active member of the CDO Out-of-School Youth Development Alliance (OSYDA), is deeply honored to celebrate the alliance's collective achievements towards youth development. Reflecting the unwavering commitment and dedication of OSYDA and its partners are the following prestigious awards:

● Mayor Rolando 'Klarex' Uy as Outstanding Youth Champion ● John Rey Remadavia as Most Outstanding Youth Leader ● Most Sustainable Youth Program ● Strengthened Youth Development Alliance System ● Best Program for Employment Services ● Best Program for Positive Youth Development ● Best TESDA Regional Office-TESDA X

Representing our institution in this significant event were Dr. Jestoni Babia (City College President), Mr. James Patrick Santos (Director for Linkages and Partnerships & Youth Leadership Development Center), and Ms. Herna Tano (Director for Extension and Outreach Office); together with Councilor Suzette Magtajas-Daba (Chairperson for Committee on Education).
