On December 6, 2024, the City College of Cagayan de Oro (CCCDO) conducted a benchmarking activity at Capitol University (CU), focus on strengthening its quality assurance systems. The CCCDO delegation, led by Dr. Mark Raymond S. Tan, VP for the Office of Student Affairs and Services, and Arnel James Suprito, incoming OIC-Director of the Internal Quality Assurance Office, met with Franco C. Flores, CU's VP for Administration & Quality Assurance.

The visit aimed to learn from Capitol University’s well-established practices, particularly as one of only three institutions in Region X with CHED’s Autonomous Status and multiple Level 4 accredited programs. As CCCDO continues to grow, the benchmarking visit provided valuable insights, enhancing the institution’s ability to create a competitive and innovative learning environment that will benefit the Kagay-anon youth.

City College of CDO extends its sincere gratitude to Capitol University for generously sharing its expertise and fostering this collaborative learning opportunity.
