The Sayod Series comprises Symposiums and Seminars. For this quarter, it includes the Financial Literacy Seminar. The Financial Literacy Symposium was conducted by Mr. Melvin O. Bedasua and Mr. Elmo C. Bautista from the First Community Cooperative (FICCO) on August 14, 2023, at the Agusan Gymnasium in Cagayan de Oro City.
This event was attended by 138 trainees from various qualifications, including 55 PBEd out-of-school youth. Mr. Bedasua's presentation focused on Financial Literacy, equipping the quarter 3 trainees with essential financial skills such as personal finance management, budgeting, and investing. Meanwhile, Mr. Bautista covered "Being Efficient in the Workplace" from the basic competencies module, emphasizing entrepreneurial best practices and cost-effective decision-making.
