The City College of Cagayan de Oro successfully held its 2nd exploratory meeting with the Philippine Air Force 8th ARCEN on March 12, 2025 in preparation for the implementation of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) program for the upcoming academic year.
The meeting was attended by key representatives from both the City College of Cagayan de Oro and the Philippine Air Force 8th ARCEN, including Major Carlo T. Pedrosa, Executive Officer of the 8th ARCEN, and Technical Sergeant Al-Zahle S. Ahmad of the 8th ARCEN. Representing CCCDO were Dr. Jestoni P. Babia, College President; Mr. Karl Hein Pios, Vice President for Finance; Anjanette Vicky Escalona, Budget Finance Officer; Dr. Ray Butch D. Mahinay, Vice President for ESDS; Prof. Candice May B. Gamayon, NSTP Director; and Chery Mae J. Javier, NSTP/LTS Coordinator.
This collaborative effort aims to ensure the smooth and efficient implementation of the ROTC program, equipping our students with essential leadership, discipline, and national service skills. Through this initiative, CCCDO seeks to cultivate a sense of patriotism, responsibility, and preparedness among its cadets, empowering them to become future leaders dedicated to serving the nation.
