In celebration of Earth Day, the City College of Cagayan de Oro proudly participated in Baybayani 3.0: Coastal Clean-Up Initiative — a meaningful environmental effort held on April 22, 2025, at the Agusan Coastal Areas. This collaborative event brought together a diverse group of organizations, including CLIMBS Cares, Plastik Republic, DENR X, Opol Community College, MASSPECC, CLENRO, KUSGAN Volunteers Inc., BFP, Coop NATCCO, and the Agusan Barangay Council — all united by a shared commitment to protecting and preserving our coastal environment.
The initiative aimed to promote environmental stewardship and strengthen community engagement among student and local volunteers. CCCDO was well represented by its dedicated faculty, staff, and NSTP student volunteers, who actively contributed by cleaning up coastlines, raising awareness, and advocating for sustainable practices.
