On June 3–4, 2025, 65 youth from reintegrated families took part in TalenTrail 2.0, a two-day career development training held at the Oro Kalandang Peace Center, Barangay Dansolihon, Cagayan de Oro City. The program aimed to empower participants with life skills, career direction, and renewed self-confidence.

The initiative was led by the City College of Cagayan de Oro Extension and Outreach Office (EOO) under the direction of Ms. Herna Francis Mae B. Tano. It was held in close collaboration with Andam Higala Inc., represented by Ms. Mahalla Zara Villar and her Core Team, as well as the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWD) through Mr. Carlos Lagunay.

The event featured resource speakers from the Office of Student Affairs, including Dr. Faith Colarte, Ms. Capalaran Sabasales, and Ms. Andrea Alexa Joan Ermino, whose insights greatly enriched the training. Additional experts such as Ms. Ezel Lambatan, Engr. Jhon Llyod Cabahug, Engr. TalenTrail 2.0 was made possible through the support of UNICEF Philippines, LEaP!, ALTEC-AdZU, OYDO, Accenture, GenU, and the City Government of Cagayan de Oro. The event represents a strong step toward building inclusive, empowered, and hopeful futures for the city’s reintegrated youth.
