On March 13, 2025, the Office of Student Affairs and Services, headed by Dr. Mark Raymond S. Tan, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, successfully hosted a 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 among Local Universities and Colleges in Region X at City College of Cagayan de Oro’s Audio-Visual Room.
The meeting convened SAS directors, coordinators, and representatives from various local universities and colleges in Region X to discuss key policies, challenges, and innovative strategies in delivering student services.
The event was honored by the distinguished participation of Dr. Rose Mae T. Lumasag, Education Supervisor II and Focal Person for Student Affairs and Services, Commission on Higher Education - Regional Office X.
Dr. Tan underscored the significance of intercollegiate cooperation, stating the importance of SAS in the holistic development of students. Participants engaged in dialogue sessions and collaborative brainstorming, leading to concrete proposals for mutual support mechanisms.
The meeting concluded with a commitment signing to continuous collaboration among the participating institutions, with follow-up discussions and action plans to ensure the sustained implementation of student-centered policies in the region.
