The City College of Cagayan de Oro through its Office for Lifelong Learning and Development Office has been granted 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗖𝗣𝗗) 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 through 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝗣𝗧𝗥-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱-𝟳𝟮𝟭 by the Professional Regulation Commission Region X last February 18, 2025.
This accreditation allows the institution to offer CPD programs, which marks a significant step forward in our mission to promote continuous learning, professional growth, and skill enhancement, where licensed professionals can participate to earn the necessary credit units to be able to renew their PRC licenses.
The success of securing this accreditation was made possible through the efforts of the Office for Lifelong Learning and Development, led by Director Jerome Torres and its Program Manager Ms. Shellou Grace Sanchez, with the invaluable support of the City College of CDO community. This milestone was further strengthened by the strong leadership of College President Dr. Jestoni P. Babia, making it a true collective achievement that advances the RISE agenda of Mayor Rolando 'Klarex' Uy.
As the City College of Cagayan de Oro continues to expand, our role as a CPD-accredited provider becomes even more crucial in ensuring the highest quality of service for our constituents. By empowering professionals with continuous learning opportunities, we strengthen our commitment to innovation, excellence, and community development.
The institution extends its gratitude to the Professional Regulation Commission - Region X for its guidance and support in securing this accreditation, allowing the college to further its mission of lifelong learning and professional development.
