The City College of Cagayan de Oro, through its College Library Services Office and the College of Business and Management, participated in the 2025 Book Fair and Exhibit organized by the Philippine Librarians Association, Inc.โNorthern Mindanao Region Librarians Council (PLAI-NMRLC) held on October 3, 2025, at Xavier UniversityโAteneo de Cagayan, Cagayan de Oro City.
Representing the institution were Dr. Melody R. Agcito, Head, College Library Services Office; Dr. Rowena R. Orbeta, Dean of the College of Business and Management; Dr. Mary Joy C. Teodosio, Program Chair of the BS Entrepreneurship program; Prof. Joseph G. Barillo, Program Chair of the BS Office Administration program; Ms. Catherine T. Uayan, Faculty; and Ms. April Grace S. Almahan, Reference and User Services Assistant.
The activity aimed to enhance CCCDOโs library resources by identifying and acquiring relevant academic titles essential for accreditation and the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC). These new materials will further strengthen the collegeโs support for instruction, research, and lifelong learning.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 and SDG 17, reaffirming CCCDOโs commitment to advancing accessible, high-quality education through well-resourced learning environments.
