The City College of Cagayan de Oro is dedicated to the development of a Reference Grammar for Kagay-an Heritage, highlighting the distinct linguistic characteristics and cultural identity of Kagay-anon communities. Last January 17, 2025, a collaborative session was held to discuss the structure of the Reference Grammar and strategies for curriculum development to further enrich the academic programs of the College.
Facilitated by Dr. Joel Potane and Director Charlie Job Sumili, the session provided a platform for meaningful discussions and valuable contributions from participants, strengthening efforts to preserve and promote Kagay-anon heritage through education.
