In a proactive step toward community collaboration, an exploratory meeting was recently held with the Barangay Agusan Committee on Education, led by Barangay Kagawad Hon. Albert B. Abatay, alongside Hon. Gerardo V. Baconguis and Barangay Secretary Hon. Edgar D. Melliza.
This important gathering was initiated by the Extension and Social Development (ESDS) office of the City College of Cagayan de Oro, headed by Dr. Ray Butch Mahinay and facilitated by Ms. Herna Francis Mae Tano, MM, the Director for Extension and Outreach.
Key participants included Ms. Candice Gamayon, Director for NSTP, and from the Linkages and Partnerships Office, Mr. Arnel James Suprito and Ms. Hazel Faye Abbu.
The meeting set the groundwork for impactful partnerships, fostering educational and developmental initiatives that will benefit the residents of Barangay Agusan.
