City College of Cagayan de Oro recently held a collaborative meeting with the Nahilaran IPS Tribal Council to co-design syllabi for Indigenous Peoples (IP) Education, Peace Education, and student services programs. These programs will soon be offered at the college, reflecting a commitment to inclusivity and culturally responsive education that aligns with the needs of the local IP community.

This initiative emphasizes the importance of incorporating Indigenous knowledge, cultural values, and traditions into the academic curriculum, promoting peace and mutual respect.
