Herna Francis Mae B. Tano, MM currently serves as the Director of the Extension and Outreach Office at the City College of Cagayan de Oro, where she leads community engagement initiatives and extension programs that bridge the gap between academic excellence and community development.
With her extensive background in management and community development, Director Tano has been instrumental in establishing partnerships with local communities, government agencies, and non-profit organizations to create meaningful impact through various extension programs.
Her leadership in the Extension and Outreach Office has resulted in numerous successful community projects, volunteer programs, and social development initiatives that align with the college's mission of producing globally competitive graduates who are also socially responsible citizens.
Director Tano holds a Master's degree in Management and continues to champion the college's commitment to community service, sustainable development, and social responsibility through innovative extension programs and community partnerships.
